Virgin Voyages is set to debut a reimagined entertainment experience aboard its newest ship, Brilliant Lady. The cruise line is introducing seven original productions, expanded comedy and live music, and an array of immersive experiences aimed at enhancing the onboard experience for both new and returning guests.
The announcement, made during a live-stream event by Virgin Voyages’ CEO, chief marketing officer, and vice president of entertainment, revealed that the ship will blend fresh theatrical performances with revamped fan favorites to elevate the brand’s entertainment offerings.
The Red Room & The Manor: A Stage for Innovation
At the heart of Brilliant Lady’s entertainment is The Red Room, which will host Red Hot, a musical revue celebrating Virgin’s 50-year history through classic hits from Virgin Records. Another headliner, Out of Time, is a time-traveling comedy developed in partnership with No Ceilings, blending music, fashion, and acrobatics for a high-energy spectacle.
Meanwhile, The Manor, the ship’s two-tiered performance venue, will introduce five new shows, including:
Up with a Twist – A Supper Club Series experience with live music and audience-driven endings.
Murder in the Manor – An immersive true-crime mystery inspired by ’80s thrillers, where guests help solve a rockstar’s murder.
Duets – A musical journey across generations, featuring jazz-infused Motown, rock, and pop ballads.
Electric – A high-energy dance party with neon face paint, UV-reactive outfits, and a jellyfish parade.
Disco Reimagined – A 90-minute explosion of acrobatics and sequins, featuring dance breaks and circus acts.
A Return to Scarlet Night & New Thematic Experiences
Virgin’s Scarlet Night, the signature onboard celebration of the octopus goddess, will return in a reimagined format. On Alaska sailings, the event will move indoors to The Red Room, transforming the space to recreate its signature vibrant, outdoor festival atmosphere.
Also returning is Duel Reality, Virgin Voyages’ acrobatic take on Romeo and Juliet, which made history in 2024 as the first cruise production to transition to a land-based theater in Boston.
